HIF insurance is a non-profit private health insurer which means they qualify for exemption from income tax assessment and return any surplus to their members in the form of lower premiums, increased rebates and new benefits and services.

However, lower premiums might also mean limited coverage. As a potential HIF member, you might want to consider comparing different private health insurance policies to ensure you’re making a fully informed decision. This article will provide you with all the information you need.
